Dr. Aurelia Vanderburg

Dr. Vanderburg was born in Skokie, Illinois and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She earned a Bachelorof Science degree in Biology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her studies at the University of Michigan Dental School, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Vanderburg then completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at The Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. She then attended the University of North Carolina Dental School-Chapel Hill, where she received a Master of Science degree and Certification in Endodontics.
As a practicing Endodontist in the Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Vanderburg was voted a “Top Endodontist” by Baltimore Magazine. In her leisure time, Dr. Vanderburg enjoys friends, family, traveling, the arts and classic architecture.

Dr. Vanderburg is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, which is the highest level of education that can be achieved in the specialty of endodontics. She was one of the only few active Board Certified endodontists in all of Southwest Georgia  where she owned a practice for 12 years prior to relocating to the Chicago area.
